What should I do about my sore scalp?

by Jessica
(Bradenton,FL USA)

I sometimes get sores on my head that are very painful. I do not braid my hair or use heating products that would cause this.

I scratch them and they turn it scabs. Why do you think I get them and what do you recommend I do to treat them or to prevent them from coming back?

Do you have any products that can help me with this problem?

Painful sores on scalp
by: Anonymous

My 16 year old brother has been suffering from sores/cysts on his scalp for almost 2 years now. We've been told its folliticus-an infection of the hair follicles. He's tried countless topical treatments and antibiotics to no avail. The some of these sores have caused scarring and bald spots. We are desperate to find a solution. Any suggestions please?

Answer:

I would suggest our zinc and tea tree hair gel which is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-septic, and anti-fungal.

Simply use as a normal hair gel working into the scalp with fingertips. You should see results in a couple of days.

Scalp eczema - dermatitis
by: Zac

What you are both experiencing is scalp eczema or dermatitis.

I have had this for many years. Although I don't see the symptoms any longer since I use FlakeFree styling gel with zinc and tea tree oil.

The FDA approved active ingredients are so much more effect when in continual contact than when using shampoos with them that are rinsed off within moments.

That is the secret to it's effectiveness.

Try it, I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised.

Best wishes,
