What Does Eczema Look Like?
You may be wondering what does eczema look like. Those of us with it have at some point had the same question. Basically it is areas of inflammation on the skin or scalp which are often flaky and even become crushy. Most of the time they are extremely itchy as well.
In this picture of eczema, (also known as atopic dermatitis), the inflammation is quite evident. The inside of the elbows and knees are also common areas effected. Scratching will increase the amount of inflammation, and may even cause fluid to be excreted. Something as simple as the fragrance of a particular detergent brand may cause an outbreak. Or it may be a harder to find food allergy, or any number of things we come into contact with. Building up our immune systems through a well balanced approach will be extremely beneficial.
This poor little darling is likely suffering the effects of allergy induced symptoms. Having eight children myself I have seen this many times.
Being highly allergic myself, as well as asthmatic, unfortunately all of my children inherited those traits to one degree or another. Moisterizing with topical solutions are some of the first things we can do to relieve symptoms.
Since eczema is an inflammation we highly recommend products which are formulated with natural herbal ingredients which have anti-inflammatory properties, as well as being anti-bacterial, and natural antiseptics. Fortunately we have recommended products which have all of these properties and more. Below is a list of the natural herbal ingredients, as well as a link to the recommended products which are formulated with them.
