painfull slightly pink patches in scalp
by: Em

Hi,
I have a very painfull, and itchy scalp.
I have horrible headaches from the pain of my scalp.
I think I may have had a hair color dye reaction two weeks ago. I remember my scalp feeling hot and looking slightly pink when I had it colored at a salon. I felt fine the day after. Two weeks after I started feeling pain and an ichy scalp. Touching my scalp or moving my hair hurts. I have tried rincing with apple cyder vinager and tried almond oil on my scalp to help sooth the pain. Both are temporary solutions.
The pain has lasted for 4 days now.
Any advise!!!!!

White dry flaky bumps
by: Sheryl

I've just discovered a few white dry flaky pumps on my head. They do not itch and I can pick or pull the flakes off the pumps with my finger nails. I do have a small area along my hairline that I can shake some dry skin free with my fingers every once in a while. This spot I thought I was drying out by blending my makeup through the area. The makeup is a shine control mattifying makeup. The other bumps are a mystery. I'm 45 and have normal/oil hair. I've never had a scalp problem until this. I wash my hair 2 to 3 times a week with Sauve shampoo and conditioner. Let dry natural. That's it. Very low maintenance. So what's going on here?
