Wear the Best Shoes for Your Feet

by Missy

Would anyone else like to discuss how wearing the right shoes is best for your feet in the long run and for the health of your feet. Many topics such as surgery, bunionectomies, and things of the sort could be discussed.

I have heard wearing certain kinds of footwear can actually cause many problems as we grow older.

Does anyone know of the best shoe products to help keep you feet from getting bunions, toe problems, or reduce the chances of foot and toenail fungus?

Best Shoes For Your Feet
by: Zac

Missy,

Yes, of course wearing the best shoes for your feet is an extremely important issues relating to general foot care.

I go into this in detail on our site in many of my foot care articles, but will summarize it here.

For instance, tight fitting high heels may be the leading contributor to bunions. Particularly the narrow toed ones which were very popular in the past several decades. (you know, the ones that cramp your toes to a point)

Also, shoes that don't ventilate well. Manmade vinyl shoes which are prone to hold moisture provide a perfect environment for foot and toe nail fungus.

Not only can wearing the wrong shoes promote corns, bunions, fungus, and aggrevate misaligned toes. But cause fatique, leg cramps, and poor posture.

I welcome others to join in on this discussion. Particularly if you have questions or know of the best shoes for specific foot care issues.

I can see this becoming a seperate topic in our forums with a specific page dedicated to the best shoes for your feet, and were to get them.

Best wishes,
Zac
