Wanted: Drying Tips for Long Hair

I have had hairstyles of varying lengths over the years. I really like the look of long hair, but frankly am too lazy to do all the extra maintenance that it requires.

Even something as simple as drying my hair seems to take forever when it is longer. I have chronically dry hair, so I really don't like to blow dry it, as that seems to make the condition much worse.

I am very interested in hearing if anyone has any good tips on how to dry longer hair quickly, without resorting to the damaging heat of a blow dryer. There must be a way.
