Unnatural colors

I really like dying my hair, but I've been thinking about going for a wild, bright color (blue, pink, orange, etc.)
Can anyone recommend a permanent dye in a non natural color? Or a semi-permanent that isn't as likely to fade?
Since I've been dying my hair for years, it doesn't always hold a color very well. I've also got oily hair, so not washing it for a few days doesn't work for me (it just gets very, very disgusting).
I've used Manic Panic before, but I'm not particularly fond of its ability to stain my skin but fade in my hair. Does anyone know a better, longer lasting brand?
