Unbearably itchy scalp

Hi, my itchy scalp condition started when I was pregnant and it seems to flare up from time to time. The itching is predominantly at the crown and above the nape of the neck with patches of itching elsewhere. the cycle seems to be itching, then scratching, then sore, then some small patches of crustiness.

The last and most recent flare up was quite different. It was unbearably itchy to the point where I thought I had an infestation. Having combed thoroughly 3 times and checked twice by my DH, I'm now quite sure that I don't have 'walkers'.

I do however have red bumps by my ears and the nape of my neck and a rash on my neck. I have also found out accidentally due to hayfever that antihistamine totally relieves my itching to the point that I feel sane again. Any suggestions?

Answer

You have scalp dermatitis also know as eczema.

Use our FlakeFree therapeutic hair gel as well as our tea tree shampoo. It will clear it up in a couple of days.

Use at least a couple of times a week to keep your condition under control.

Can be used daily if your symptoms warrant.
