How to Relieve Toe Fungus
It is estimated that as many as 13 percent of the population has toe fungus to on degree or another. The nails are particularly susceptible, and may simply be discolored, or severely damaged and cracked.
While some podiatrists may prescribe oral medication (generally severe cases - very expensive - some side effects), most also recommend using a topical solution to aid relief even in the worst cases.
By a topical solution I mean an antifungal lotion which can be applied directly to the affected area. The most commonly recommended ingredients do not require a prescription.
As you read our quick tips to aid relief and minimize future symptoms keep in mind once you have toe fungus you must alleviate it, (for most this can be achieved with antifungal lotion) before a maintenance program will be completely effective.
