Stitches

Please give me some information on a hair/scalp condition which overtakes the hair thus causing it to ingrow and travel into the face and other parts of the body.

It takes the form of stitches and generally distorts the affected area. It creates another layer of skin. In attempting to treat it one actually has to unthread the stitches.

Am I making sense?

Ingrown Hair
