Small Bald Spot

I have recently discovered a small bald spot (the size of a pencil eraser) on the back of my head. It came about a few weeks ago, and came with a large bump that was sore. The bump has gone away, but the bald spot remains. Any ideas what this could be?

Looks like scalp dermatitis. Particularly since you stated there was a sore bump on it.
