Scalp Itching/Irritation from Wearing Wig - noticed little bumps

by Cely
(Florida)

I just lost my hair yesterday after 3 weeks of chemotherapy and wore a wig for the first time. After wearing the wig for the entire day today, my scalp became itchy, and I noticed fine bumps on the right side of my head.

Should I use the tea tree shampoo? Would you recommend a topical that I could use? Thanks!

Answer:

A lot of our customers use the zinc lotion on their scalp during hair loss to relieve irritation. It's anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial etc.

You may end up getting some skin irritations too, which it is good for.

Are you using our comfy grip wig band? It help alleviate scalp irritation from wearing wigs and turbans on sensitive scalp during hair loss.

All of the products mentioned are on the featured products page.

Best wishes,
Zac
