Sand Your Feet Smooth

by P.
(Kansas City)

Okay, this is going to sound a little bizarre, like making bandages from duct tape, or drying your hair with a leaf blower. But hear me out.

In the winter I find that a lot of dry skin builds up on the heels of my feet. Pumice stones are lovely: they're simple and safe. But sometimes you want to get rid of a lot of flaky dead skin FAST.

I use my handheld electric sander (this particular brand is called The Mouse, but there are others). Yes, really. A fine-to-medium grade sandpaper takes off all that rough flaky skin that catches on my socks and puts runs in my stockings.

It's fun, it's fast, it's effective, and... yeah, it's a little dangerous. Go gradually and lightly. Check the results frequently, and when you get through the thick dead skin to the soft skin underneath, stop.

Then put on a little moisturizer of your choice, and your feet will stay smooth & happy for weeks.

Rough Heels On Feet
by: Zac

P,

Well that's a new one on me!

I could only give you 4 stars though, since it is creative, but rather unorthodox.

I would suggest others try safer methods such as using soft toe files, or pumice stones. But hey, if it works for you, go for it.

Now, the most important thing I think you should consider is the importance of your choice of lotion. I use a zinc and tea tree which softens my calluses and my skin in general. That way, if any filing is need, it is much easier.

We offer one of the best you will ever find on our featured products page I helped to develop specifically for my skin problems.

Check it out, it's right at the top.

Best wishes,
Zac
