Red Skin

by Jenny
(Los Angeles)

Hi,
I'm 52 yrs old, live in Los Angeles.

The last couple of months, my left cheek (and now my right one, too) has been bright red and the skin is very dry (whereas it had been very oily) When I use moisturizer it stings. My eyelids have also become really dry and I'm wondering if you might know what this could be. I don't think it's rosacea, because I don't have any broken capillaries. I use different brands of skin care and makeup, but I've never had allergies to anything before now. Could it be a form of dermatitis? Thanks for any help you can give,
Jenny
