red blood marks

I am 52, male, and have never had anything like this happen before. It has been going on for some time now. When I showed my doc he said "that doesn't look good", he ran all the blood work and it came back normal, so he said he was stumped.

I am having red blood marks on my skin that come from the lightest rub or if I run my nail over a spot.
They are not like a bruise, they look like red blood right under the surface. Now today it actually has spots in it that are darker. It usually stays for a few days.

Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated.
I am attaching a photo of my arm that I took 2 days ago, and it still looks just like this.
Thanks

Answer:

These are blood lesions which can be caused by vitamin deficiency, stress, blood count issues, etc.

The actual name for this disorder is petechiae.

I would immediately start taking a high quality multiple vitamin, and drink plenty of water.

If you see positive results in a day or two, then you probably have your cause. However, I would schedule an appointment with a dermatologist just to be sure.

Best wishes,
Zac
