Your Psoriasis Questions Answered

Many questions arise when we discuss psoriasis and try to determine which treatment is right for you. First of all it must be understood, that there are several different types, not to mention varied degrees of symptoms.

Mild to moderate cases are the most common. With 1000s of cases which go undetected. For instance, scalp psoriasis is often thought to be severe dandruff, as the symptoms are almost identical. Fortunately the best dandruff remedies actually work quite well to relieve these symptoms as well.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Many of us may not know if we have psoriasis, or exactly what it is. We will provide information which will hopefully answer all of those questions for you.

Types

There are five basic types. Plaque being the most common.(80% of the cases) Guttate, Pustular, Inverse, and Erythrodermic round out the group. We discuss each in laymans terms in the articles below. The bottom line of course, after we know what we are dealing with is, what do we do about it? We intend on giving you all of the information you need to make that decision for yourself.

As a special note, the FDA has only approved a few ingredients to be generally affective treatment. Salicylic acid being one of them which we have formulated into our spray. Steroids prescribed by a physicians are also used, however they do have numerous side effects. None of our recommended products include steroids.

Severe symptoms should be diagnosed by a health care professional. We will not stoop to the wild marketing claims many other websites have lowered themselves to. Our spray with salicylic acid is recommended for this particular disorder.
