Panel highlights for short hair

by Kathy
(IL)

If you have shorter hair and you would like to have highlights that stand out, try putting panels highlights into your hair. Your hair would be parted to back of the ears.

Taking horizantal parting and slicing 1/4 to 1/2 parting and coloring the whole panel, skip about and inch then do another panel, this way it will fall thoughout the whole head, do the same thoughout the back portion of the head. Alternating colors will give it more effect.

I use this with many short hair hightlights, and it looks great. Anyone else tried this?

All the best,
Kathy
