Nothing is helping me

(Louisville, KY 40207)

Dear Zac: I have been dealing with scalp eczema/dryness, build up, itching since July 09. I have lost 2/3 of my hair and even have a bald spot in the front. I am female. I have used your lotion on my scalp which gives me relief while it is on my scalp, however, I can't leave it on for a long time or it starts to burn due to my sensitive scalp. I can't use the hairspray or the gel as it really burns. Alcohol? I sure do appreciate your sending me the free bottles of the lotion. I have used all of them and will probably order more. I have been to the dermatologist and nothing helps. I am at the end of my rope. I am disabled due to diabetes and other health problems and don't even want to go out of the house. I am constantly uncomfortable. It hurts to even wash what little hair I have left. My hair was long and pretty. Now it is short with some long left and turning gray. I don't even look like I did 8 months ago. This scalp condition is getting the best of me. Why won't it go away? I am so very tired of this. Thank you again for sending me the lotion. Christy Mattingly

Christy,

The gel shouldn't burn your scalp. It has no alcohol in it. I use the gel myself. They spray has a very small amount of alcohol to keep it from setting up in the nozzle, but is primarily water based.

I have a tea tree shampoo that will help you as well, and it very mild. It also helps restore proper PH levels.

I would say you should also try and drink plenty of good pure water everyday. At least 6 glasses per day.

Your diet is also very important. Maybe some supplements, although you would need to get high quality supplements as over the counter vitamins etc. are not very effective as you don't absorb them well at all.

Please stay in touch and let's work on this together.

Best wishes,
Zac
