Need fragrance-free hair color

Can you suggest a fragrance-free hair color product? Ever since I started coloring my hair a couple of years ago, I have had itching and flaking that will not completely go away. At times it is almost unbearable.

The dermatologist said I am allergic to the darker color the hair dresser puts on my roots (I like to be blonde, but like the darker color at the roots).

The Dr said I shouldn't have to stop coloring my hair, and that I should be able to find a fragrance-free product. He did give me an injection (which helped so much) and prescribed some type of cream that helps some.

I have found several fragrance-free shampoos to use but so far I have not been able to find any product to use to color my hair.

I really need some suggestions so I won't have to "go gray."

No perfume free rinse out hair color

The four companies noted in these answers all offer fragrance free hair color, however, it is for permanent color, not the rinse out kind. I have been searching for fragrance free rinse out color for years and have yet to find any. I've enlisted the help of hair stylists and colorists, as well, and so far, zip.

try logona hair dye ..its fragrance free. there is just a faint hint of fresh grass which fades in an hour. herbatint supposed to be fragrance free as welll :)

I'm going to try Herbatint. It is available at many of our local health food stores. There is also Tints of Nature, but I haven't been able to find it. A new Salon product is Robert Craig, but I can't get it in Canada

Herbatint, I have not used the permanent color yet but am going to try the semi permanent, used it once years ago and was good.

Both are fragrance free, overstock.com carries the permanent color as do many other sites, I just ordered the semi permanent one from another site.

I hope more manufacturers will start doing fragrance free lines of all products.

I don't know if henna has an odor to it, but you might want to check that out.
