Correcting Mallet Toe
Mallet toe syndrome occurs generally in the second lesser toe. Simply put mallet toe is the inability of the second joint being able to straighten. It is similar to hammer, claw, and overlapping toe syndromes. As we can see in the picture to the right, often times bunions contribute to the disorder, and can cause the toe to overlap. Friction from footwear can cause corns to develop.
To aid in correcting misalignment, add comfort and relieve pain, and to protect the top from corn development, we strongly recommend the use of the brace to the right. As you can see, it straightens, and protects from further damage. 
This example to the right is a combination of mallet toe, and overlapping toe with a sever bunion which is contributing to her problems. Wearing high heel shoes for years took it’s toll on her feet. Occasionally wearing high heels is fine, but wearing them on a regular basis is strongly discouraged by our staff.

It can be worn even with open toe shoes and is nearly invisible, which she appreciates because she is a ballroom dancer.
