lumps on scalp
Lumps on scalp are a very common problem experienced by many who think they have severe dandruff.
What they are actually indicative of is scalp dermatitis.
Just like dermatitis does on the skin, it weeps fluid which crusts over. This fluid dries and becomes lumps or bumps on your scalp.
You find yourself scratching your head and feeling these lumps and many times picking them loose. Usually they are a yellowish scab, or red from itching.
I know from experience since I have suffered from dermatitis since the mid 1990's. Fortunately I found the best remedy for this problem some 6 years ago.
Instead of using therapeutic shampoos which are only in contact with my scalp for a short period of time, I use FlakeFree therapeutic styling gel which remains in continual contact with my scalp.
FlakeFree is formulated with zinc, tea tree oil, and numerous beneficial herbal ingredients. Zinc pyrithione is the most common FDA approved active ingredient used to control dandruff, dermatitis, eczema and numerous other skin and scalp disorders.
My scalp cleared up within a couple of days after using FlakeFree therapeutic styling gel. I would recommend it to anyone who has problems with lumps on the scalp.
