Keep Your Mane Gorgeous!

My hair's been long all my life. This glorious privilege of having long hair is awesome, but takes time to maintain.

Women and men compliment my hair, and I'd like to share a few of my trade secrets. First of all, select and keep a top stylist! I have someone who's done my hair for years and keeping my ends clipped not only allows my tresses to maintain their shape but also leaves my hair full and bouncy.

Next, I only use professional shampoos purchased from the salon. I've used products from the grocery store, but they always leave buildup on my hair. I use leave on conditioners daily, and use a weekly deep conditioner.

Sometimes I've been known to use hairspray for extra hold, but mostly I avoid that as the spray usually causes buildup and breakage. I love hair balms that style my locks...another trade secret.

Another secret...drink plenty of water, stay hydrated and take vitamins on a daily basis. I believe in beauty from the inside out.

I AGREE!!!!

Thanks for that great info! I concur 100%. I also purchase my shampoo and conditioner directly from my salon. It's a daily shampoo (even though I don't shampoo everyday) and the conditioner is a deep conditioning shampoo. Also, if you need some extra protein for your hair I suggest using Duo Tex made by Ultra Sheen. My hair has NEVER looked and felt better. It's also growing much faster. I drinks LOTS of water and take my vitamins and supplements! Thanks again!!
