Itchy Scalp Relief
All of us experience itchy scalp to one degree or another. The question is, what is causing your particular problem, and what do you do about it?
You may simply have dry scalp, but some of us have mild to severe dandruff, and even dermatitis or eczema.
Scalp Treatment
The first thing we need to address is your shampoo. Most dandruff shampoos are not very effective for dandruff control, let alone dermatitis or eczema. They simply aren't in contact long enough to be effective. Most don't restore proper PH levels either and quite frankly do more harm than good to your hair in general. I highly recommend a naturally mild tea tree shampoo which will restore PH levels and reduce buildup. Next, for problem itchy scalp, dandruff and even dermatitis and eczema of the scalp you will need to get active ingredients in continual contact with your scalp. Much like using a therapeutic zinc lotion on your skin for skin disorders, we need continual treatment on the scalp. Of course you don't want to put lotion in your hair. We developed FlakeFree therapeutic zinc styling gel to solve this problem. It's formulated with FDA approved zinc and tea tree oil along with numerous beneficial herbal ingredients which stay in continual contact with your scalp. The result is around the clock scalp treatment by simply styling your hair. If the hold our gel provides is not desired, simply run a comb or brush through your hair after it sets. Instructions Work FlakeFree into your hair and scalp preferably after shampooing with hair wet with your finger tips. Style as usual, apply daily until symptoms subside. Can be used on a regular basis, or when your itchy scalp symptoms become apparent. Related Topics
