Is surgery the answer?

No, No, No. Do not have it.
by: Anonymous

I would give anything to have my original hammer toe back and to have never gone to a podiatrist seeking help. After undergoing surgery in October I have been in constant pain, had to drop out of college, can hardly walk. The podiatrist finally x-rayed it yesterday (Mar 24) and said it was a non-union. Now he wants to try using a bone stimulator.

I called today and told them to put a hold on that. Today I am searching the web, looking at my old anatomy books, etc. because I no longer trust the podiatrist. After I do all my reasearch I am going to get a second opinion. Too bad I was naive and trusting. I will never be again.

If you really want the surgery, get a second opionion. Don't be dumb like me.

Formerly a college student making A's but not streetwise. The word in the yellow box is LUMBAR.
