I am 41 and a year ago my scalp was severly burned by a hair dye that this supposed "upscale salon" used on my scalp

My scalp being burned has cause a rash to start breaking out all over the top of my body. On my face, chest, back and arms. I went to several dermatologist that just seems to be treating the rash. When I continually mention that my scalp is what is really hurting and itching and that if we try and clear that up, I feel the rest of my body maybe won't continue to break out.
They have me on prednisone now which is helping with the inflamation but, is it possible to heal your scalp with your products after a year? It blistered at first and was inflamed for a long time. I tried everything from scalpsin (?spelling), to all kinds of products the dermatologist gave me now it's a year later I have lost 1/2 of my hair where the burn took place and I am just at a loss of what to do. My hair loss has stopped since I have been on prednisone but, I am getting ready to wean down from that.
Any suggestions you would have I would be so appreciative. This is controlling my life.
