How long does acne last?

Hi, two years back i had terrible pimples on my face. I tried every possible thing to get rid of them. Herbal creams,soaps,turmeric paste.. but i couldn`t get them under control permanently.

My dad also suffered from terrible acne during his teenage years and the pits on his cheeks show it. But my experience says that turmeric cream is the best treatment for acne.

Just one thick layer of this cream and the next day your face becomes super clean. Probably today i dont have much acne due to turmeric cream use.

One question i would like to ask: If you ever had acne till what age did it last?
