Highlight Your Hair that has more of a wow factor

by Kathy
(IL)

If you want your highlights to really stand out, try taking a horseshoe parting at the top of your head, parting from almost the end of your eyebrows to the back of your crown area. This is used best on someone that has long hair because the highlights will fall thoughout the whole head.

Take 1/4 to 1/2 inch partings thoughout the horseshoe skipping your natuarl haircolor about every inch, this will result in very bold highlight and you can use a light color with a pretty red or a dark gold making it a highlight and a lowlight combined and it's a fairly quick process verses weaving thoughout the whole head.

Has anyone done something similar? Let us know how you use this technique, will you?

All the best,
Kathy
