Help for Dry Feet

by Cheryl
(Texas)

I have had dry skin (especially my hands and feet) all my life and my feet seem to be the worst part of my body. I will use lotion and it just seems to get absorbed almost instantly. Of course with hands, it's easy to apply lotion periodically all day, but not so with feet.

Then as I grew older and began to wear heels to work I started to get calluses on the balls of my foot. Nothing has worked, even when I get pedicures they still cannot remove all of the callused area.

One remedy that has worked for me has been a mixture of Corn Huskers Lotion + petroleum jelly on my feet. I use it whenever I get out of the shower in the morning and by the time I get home from work my feet are still moisturized. I usually apply it again at night.

It won't give you whole new feet overnight, but it has worked wonders for me. And the Corn Huskers Lotion is very affordable, it costs maybe 1.50 and is sold at any major drugstore. It has a pleasant odor too. That mixture has been the only thing that has really worked for me.

dry feet

Cheryl,

Thanks for the tip, this may be helpful for those with moderately dry skin. However, petroleum jelly can have adverse effects by clogging up pores.

This is why we recommend our zinc and tea tree lotion which penetrates pores and has numerous anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-fungal properties.

The penetrating properties soften calluses too!

Best wishes,
Zac
