help drop foot

by Charlotte
(Bradford, Englan)

Ok this is a long story so I apologise, but I had surgery on my leg when I was 17 (age 22 now) and as unforunate side effect a nerve in my leg was damaged and I suffered for drop foot (inability to pull my foot up towards me needed for the heel to toe action of normal walking!). Anyway I have now only just had surgery to correct this but as a recult my toes (my third toe especially severly!) have started to curl so the tips are more pointing in to the souls of my feet, and also my thrid toe has turned itself so that when my foot is flat to the floor it is the side of my toe touching ground not the bottom as normal. Is there anything I can do to correct this? Please help I'm not sure what to do!

Charlotte,

If you contact me via our contact form and give me your address, I'll send you one of our toe braces free to try and see if it helps you.

Best wishes,
Zac
