Hammertoes that curl under

I have been dignosed with hammer toes. My doctor did a proceidure to correct this problem in his office two weeks ago today. I am noticing that my toes still want to curl under. He said this does elemanate the problem in some cases.

I had the tendons stretched in all four of my toes, and now it is rather difficult to walk. I am now walking with a limp. I am hoping that this will eventually go away. Please give me some advice.
