Hammertoe Correction After Bunion Surgery?

Hi. I recently had surgery to correct bunions on both my feet. Now that my bunions are fixed, I notice the small hammertoes that have developed on the second toes of both feet. Do you think these hammertoes will correct themselves now that the bunions are removed?

Your hammertoes likely will either stay the same, or become worse in time unfortunately. What you can do is wear our toe brace which will comfort them and help re-align.

Every case is different of course, but you probably have some joint damage which is the cause of your condition.

If you have any discomfort, I highly recommend our hammer toe brace which can be seen in the featured products section of this site.

Best wishes,
Zac
