Hammer/Mallet/Claw Toe???

It is in a permanent bended position. It does lean towards the great toe but I have been wearing shoe inserts. This has helped but....I still have the feeling that I have something under my foot. I thought it was a calluse but after I went to the doctor he told me it was a hammer toe and this causes pain under your foot because of the pressure caused by the toe being bent. He gave me a series of cortisone shots in my foot. This has done nothing. I still feel that I have something under my foot. He suggested surgery. I don't find that an option. I thought that if my toe could be straighted the problem would go away. Your product seems to be what I am looking for. What do you think?????
