Hair turning yellow

by clinton
(ireland)

my 4 year old woke up today, he has brown hair, he does have a little craddle cap. not very much , but today out of no where now has a patch-large on his head that has turned yellow? it looks like the hair has been sprayed, does any one know what this could be please?? its very noticeable, thanks in advance

Clinton,

Cradle cap is also a form of scalp dermatitis. It is usually temporary in infants.

The yellowish color is coming from the weeping effect of the dermatitis.

I would recommend a mild tea tree shampoo or a shampoo specifically formulated for cradle cap.

Best wishes,
