hair loss

8 months ago I had a round bald spot which lead into having 3. I tried it with funal cream. The hair there did regrow,but my full head of hair will not grow back to full length. I have hair that seems to grow then breaks off. I get sores on my scalp that are painful i loss a little hair around sore but a few week goes away. It's going on 1 year and my hair is still the same. I recently bought a kit of medicated shampoo that is by ion for hair growth and nothing. I look like a plucked duck. I've tried everything over the counter. Also my doctor prescribed 2.5% shampoo for fungal. I need some help??Also thought I mentioned I have been cutting my husbands hair for 20 plus years and before I started this I had noticed he had gotten a real bad case of dandruff in a few weeks that also led into slow growth hair for him he also has a very sensitive scalp and many sores?

Sounds like you and your husband both have scalp dermatitis.
