    Cause

Generally the most common cause is exposure from public showers such as health clubs. Also tight fitting shoes particularly those that hold moisture definitely promote the problem.

    Prevention

  • Wear waterproof sandals in public showers.
  • Avoid shoes with vinyl or man made materials that don’t breath.
  • Wash towels, socks, and bed linen in hot water.
  • Rotate shoes when possible allowing them to dry.
  • Continue antifungal lotion use after symptoms disappear. (the symptoms disappear before the fungus is totally gone.)

    Antifungal Lotion

foot lotion We recommend FlakeFree therapeutic lotion. Formulated with zinc, tea tree, peppermint oil, and aloe provide strong antifungal, antibacterial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties to this effective lotion.

It will also relieve itching and odor. Simply use daily, preferably after bathing and or at bed time. Your foot fungus and your feet in general will be in tip top shape in no time. I personally use FlakeFree regularly to keep my feet and nails smooth and clear. (many other uses too, dry skin, rashes, calluses, etc.)
