hello, my hammer toe just stared to ache 2 days ok. on the top of the second toe is hard skin which looks like a corn, but i call it a knob. can the 'knob' be removed insurgery and the toe be made to lay flat or does the bunion have to be corrected in order to accomplish all of this? seeing a Dr. in 2 weeks.
