fix for limp, lifeless hair

by jenny
(chicago, il)

Hello! I have thin, fragile hair that often seems quite burdened with redisue. My hair always looks limp and dull and won't hold any style - no matter how often I cut it!

It almost looks as if I am not washing it at all, although I am!

It is not color treated but I do blow dry it in the winter. I wash it daily with a clarifying shampoo and use minimal ammounts of conditioner. I was also told that the daily shampoo might be causing more harm than good, so I stopped washing it daily and went to every other day. No change.

I have tried rinsing it with apple cider vinegar to balance out the pH levels, and have tried numerous lemon, mayonaise, deep conditionning, etc treatments. For a while I was rinsing it with distilled water, thinking that hard water might be the culprit.

Can anyone reccomend any natural styling product that might make straight, lifeless hair seem shiny and healthy? Short of constantly pulling it back or under a hat, I don't know what to do. Would hate to have to color it to make it look healthy. Any ideas or tips are appreciated!

thanks!

Lifeless Hair Remedy

Jenny,

I would suggest using Tea Tree Shampoo to restore proper PH levels, and add life and luster to your hair.

I also would suggest our natural therapeutic styling products formulated with tea tree and numerous beneficial herbal ingredients.

Not only do they add life and luster to your hair, but also give you healthier scalp which will improve your hair in general.

Give them a try and let me know how you do will you?

Here's a link to them on our site.

Best wishes,
Zac
