Eczema on hand

by Robyn
(Pgh., PA)

About a month ago the left side of my thumb on my right hand started to get very dry and then started itching, turned red, a little leathery, then got little bumps. I self diagnosed it as eczema.

I've been using lotions like crazy (cocoa butter with shea and another one with glycerin). It spread to the inside of my thumb and down the left side toward my wrist. The lower part of the outbreak has a lot of bumps.

It looked like it was getting better and then it starts itching again. I've never had this in my life, it doesn't run in my family either. I remember first noticing when I started my vacation from work.

I went out that Fri. night to a bar, drank that night, was out the rest of the weekend running errands and stuff and I think it started happening sometime between Sat. and Tues.

I don't have any allergies to anything either so I don't know how this happened?! Will I have this for the rest of my life?
