If you are prone to dry skin, your feet may simply need a real good moisturizer like the one below. If you have scaling, cracking, severe itching, or even blistering, you may be experiencing foot fungus.

Prevention

I strongly recommend using a moisturizer formulated with anti fungal, anti bacterial, and anti inflammatory properties especially when it comes to the feet. Your feet are in a warm moist environment most of the time which is a perfect promoter of fungus.

Use the moisturizer as needed, but especially after bathing when skin is well hydrated. Be sure to apply between toes and around the nail and cuticle areas. Here are a few tips to keep fungus at bay.

  • Change socks daily.
  • Wear open toe shoes when possible.
  • Wear sandals in public showers and health clubs.
  • Avoid shoes made of vinyl which hold moisture.
  • Rotate shoes allowing them to dry completely.
