Deep Conditioning?

After years of dying my hair and having no problems I decided to go really dark. Knowing that it was hard to change colors after going black, I dyed my hair the darkest shade of brown I could find. Unfortunately, the result was the same as it would have been if I just bought black dye.

I had to bleach my hair 4 times and then dye it twice to get it to be an even, normal color. Needless to say, the whole process damaged my hair quite a bit. I've had my hair cut to remove all the dead ends and dyed by a professional to resolve my color problems.

Now my only problem is that my hair is still super dry. It gets knotted very easily and breaks easily as well. I try not to shampoo more than a few times a week and I leave my conditioner in for at least 5-10 minutes depending n the length of my shower.

My hair is in much better condition than it was but I think I really need to do some sort of deep conditioning treatment to get it back to what is used to be--silky, smooth and, most importantly, healthy. I just don't want my hair to look greasy after I condition it. What products should I use?

Deep Conditioning

Hi,

About hair products, you need to get a re-moisturizer from a professional hair care line such as Paul Mitchell. Use it once a week for about two weeks and see how that works. Most hair salons carry it. Then once every two weeks. This is a deep moisturizer.

This should solve your problem.

Best wishes,
Zac
