Dandruff or Scalp Psoriasis?
My concern is this dandruff problem i had for months. i dont know if i should categorise it as dandruff or scalp psoriasis.
about a year ago, i started having dandruff on my scalp. however one region at the back of my head started getting worse. the dandruff became a bump and the skin flakes like normal dandruff.
what i did was just peeled/scratched it off but a few days later, a kind of scab developed and i have to keep peeling it eversince. i tried all kinds of dandruff shampoos on the market but none of it seems to work at all.
after peeling the scab off it will usually form again after a manner of hours. it itches hence the constant need to scratch/peel it.
after peeling i can feel moisture like how it is when you peel a normal scab from your skin and see a kind of clear reddish liquid that i assume would be platelets trying to heal the open wound. the bump is abt 3mm in diameter. the flake/scab is white on certain days and a little brownish on some.
sometimes it gets really thick and the diameter is a little bigger but sometimes it is just like a thin layer. maybe some advice on this would be good as i do not have a clue what to do about it.
