Foot Corns

Treating foot corns is much easier than most of us may think. First let’s discuss what causes them, and then what to do about it

Cause

The build up of skin particularly on the toe knuckle is the result of pressure from shoes rubbing against your toes. Conditions such as hammer toes bunions and overlapping toes are also major contributors. Tight fitting shoes, and high heels may be the worst culprits to your problem.

Symptoms

foot corn

Painful, swollen and inflamed buildup on the top, side or tip of toes. Direct pressure to affected area causes pain and discomfort.

Treatment

  • Wear wider more comfortable shoes as often as possible.
  • Avoid shoes made of man made materials such as vinyl which don’t breath and can cause fungus.
  • Use moisturizing lotion with anti fungal , anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties.
  • Wear toe pad to relieve pressure , reduce friction, and relieve pain.

  • Pretty simple huh? Where do you go to get these recommended solutions you ask? Fortunately we have exactly what you need available right here.
