Box Hair Color Tip

by Kathy
(IL)

If you have darkend your hair with more than likely box hair color there is a solution to this problem.

Mix equal parts of powder bleach, shampoo, and 10 volume cream developer approx. 1 to oz. depending on how much hair you have. Apply 1/2 an inch from scalp very quickly to end of the hair shaft then begin to gently rub through hair, color will begin to lighten , if you have little hair ,it should take approx. about 5 minutes, more hair longer. Rinse because you already have shampoo in the solution ,then shampoo again.

I would recommend a remoisturizer be put on for about 5 minutes. Now you will be able to recolor your hair. I would not recommend box color again, because its very drying and a progressive color so it keeps getting darker every time you apply the hair color and most of the time is not true to the color on the box.
