Body Balms

by Michelle
(Pennsylvania)

Has anyone ever heard of a solid lotion bar body balms? I hadn't until a few months ago. My son suffers from eczema and commercial lotions never seemed to help. I also could not use them due to highly sensitive skin. No wonder! Have you looked on the back of your lotion today?

Lotions are made up of 80% water . . . that's a lot of filling! I have also learned that anything that has water in it requires a collection of preservatives that some may even be allergic to.

I remembered reading about the solid lotion body balm and decided to do more research. It seems as though they only are made with natural butters and oils. They do not use water, just ingredients that are good for our skin.

I was skeptical at first, but decided to give it a try. I had actually found the seller on a new handmade site known as etsy. It was all so new to me, but she was so helpful. The bar has lasted longer than I had expected and has helped my family a great deal!

If you want to see what i mean, give her a look. I am not advertising, just speaking my appreciation. I am not one for trying new things, but I am glad I gave her body balms a try as they really do make a world of difference for me.
