blood mole

My son is about 4 years old, and this blood mole just popped up on his neck about 2 months ago. I am concerned about it and wondering if I should take him to the doctor to get it checked out. It does not bother him but it has grown a little, should I be concerned.

Answer,

Blood moles are superficial blood ruptures and pose no harm. They are very common particularly in older adults.

You should keep an eye on it in case it becomes discolored or abnormally large.

If you have any concerns have your doctor look at it.

Best wishes,
Zac
